Stress Buster Plan
A Stress Buster Plan consists of 6 massages of 60 min. each. All the sessions have to be used within 8 weeks, but ideally in 6 consecutive weeks. The aim of the plan is to reduce stress and anxiety. Stress affects the immune system, and the sympathetic nervous system can become an enemy to ourselves due to the duration of modern day stress periods. Our ancestors will have short-lived periods of stress which will trigger the fight or flight mode. Then, after a short period of time, the parasympathetic nervous system would take over to regulate and heal the body. This is in contrast to modern life stress that can go on for months at a time (Engert, Grant and Strauss, 2020).
